A delicious taco meat recipe featuring juicy turkey bacon and a flavorful twist of beef.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ pound turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  3. Add in the onion and garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve warm in taco shells or tortillas.

Notes

  • This taco meat can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • For extra flavor, add some diced jalapeños or other spices as desired.
