Spicy Paprika Hummus with Crunchy Seed Garnish

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
  2. Add all ingredients, except for the seeds, to a food processor.
  3. Blend until smooth, adding water if needed.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl.
  5. In a small pan, dry roast the sunflower and pumpkin seeds until golden.
  6. Sprinkle the roasted seeds on top of the hummus before serving.
