  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add flour, salt, olive oil, minced garlic, and herbs to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Punch down the dough and fold in the cheese.
  6. Shape the dough into a loaf and place in a greased loaf pan.
  7. Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
