- 1 pound chicken breasts
- 6 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup wild rice
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup carrots, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a slow cooker, combine chicken, turkey bacon, wild rice, broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, and rosemary.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove chicken, shred it, and return it to the slow cooker.
