A delicious low-carb dish that combines the flavors of a bacon cheeseburger in a convenient casserole form.

  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  3. In the same skillet, cook the ground beef until browned and drain any excess fat.
  4. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and cream cheese.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together heavy cream, eggs, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Mix the wet ingredients into the beef mixture until well combined.
  7. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set and golden on top.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños to the mixture.
