  • 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the whole wheat flour, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add water gradually until a dough forms. Knead for a few minutes.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  5. Spread the tomato sauce evenly across the dough, then layer spinach and mushrooms on top.
  6. Roll the dough tightly to form a log and slice into rolls.
  7. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
