  • 1 cup diced onion

  • 4 cups beef broth

  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, then drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the beef to the crockpot, then add onions, garlic, broth, potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir in the cheddar cheese and heavy cream until melted and creamy.
