  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and chop.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the chicken until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add the garlic, bell peppers, and carrots, cooking until just tender.
  5. Stir in the cooked lo mein noodles, bacon, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
  6. Combine cornstarch with a little water and add to the pan to thicken.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

  • For a vegetarian version, omit chicken and turkey bacon.
