Creamy Tomato Basil Pasta

A delicious and comforting pasta dish made with creamy tomato sauce and crispy turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta of your choice
  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  3. In the same skillet, add cherry tomatoes and spinach, cooking until spinach is wilted.
  4. Add heavy cream, garlic powder, and dried basil to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for a few minutes.
  5. Mix in the cooked pasta and crumbled turkey bacon, then add Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit the turkey bacon.
  • You can use any pasta shape you prefer.
