Chinese Lemon Chicken

  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix lemon juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Add the chicken slices to the mixture and marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the marinated chicken slices and cook until golden brown.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry.
  6. Pour the lemon sauce over the chicken and add the cornstarch slurry to thicken.
  7. Stir until the sauce coats the chicken evenly and is heated through.
  8. Garnish with green onions before serving.
