  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, boil chicken in chicken broth and water until cooked through. Remove chicken, shred, and set aside.
  2. Add carrots, celery, and peas to the pot. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in melted butter and milk to form a dough.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough over the simmering soup. Cover and cook for 15 minutes until dumplings are fluffy.
