Chicken Bulgogi (Korean BBQ Chicken)

Delicious and flavorful Chicken Bulgogi that makes for a perfect Korean BBQ meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, Gochujang, green onions, and sesame seeds to create a marinade.
  2. Place chicken thighs in the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
  3. Heat a grill or pan over medium-high heat and cook the marinated chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  4. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  5. Serve with rice and vegetables.

  • For best flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
