  • 3 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and spices.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla and buttermilk.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.

  7. While the cakes cool, prepare the eggnog buttercream by mixing butter, powdered sugar, and eggnog until smooth.
