  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Fold in the blueberries gently.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For extra tall muffins, fill the cups higher than usual.
  • Use frozen blueberries if fresh aren’t available.
