2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 medium apples, peeled and diced
1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and melted butter until well combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the diced apples.
Spray the waffle maker with non-stick spray and pour the appropriate amount of batter onto the center of the waffle maker. Close the lid and cook until golden brown.
Remove from the waffle maker and serve warm, optionally drizzled with icing.
