1 pound ground beef
4 slices turkey bacon
1 onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
4 hoagie rolls
8 slices provolone cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add the sliced onion and green bell pepper, sauté for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
Push the veggies to one side of the skillet and add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Cook the beef until fully browned, then drain excess fat.
Add turkey bacon and seasonings, stirring to combine with the beef and veggies.
Slice the hoagie rolls and fill each with the beef mixture.
Top with provolone cheese and cover the skillet to let the cheese melt, about 2 minutes.
