- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup pasta cooking water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of cooking water before draining.
